I’m not just a counsellor — I’m someone who’s lived life, faced the challenges, and found my way through it.


I’m passionate about breaking the stigma around counselling, because the truth is, we all need help at times.


Counselling isn’t just about talking — it’s about connection. It’s about sitting with someone real. Someone who understands pain, struggle, and what it takes to rebuild your life from the inside out.


In my 57 years, I’ve seen and survived a lot. There were times when life felt completely off track. But I turned things around, and now I’m here to help others do the same.


Many people are simply trying to get through the day; they don't need labels or lectures. They need someone real who can say, "I get it ....; you're not alone. Let's work through this together."



No judgement. No pressure. Just honesty, empathy, and real support from someone who truly gets it.


And sometimes… all it takes is that one person who finally understands.

We start with a free, relaxed online consultation so you can get a feel for me and ask any questions. Grab a coffee, get comfy, and let’s talk while we make a plan together. The first step can feel scary, but it’s often where change begins to happen.

How the sessions work

Most sessions take place online, giving you privacy, comfort, and the freedom to open up from your own space. If needed, I can offer an in-person initial consultation, and home visits are available with an additional cost to cover travel and time.

No matter how we meet online, face-to-face, or in your home you’ll always receive the same calm, grounded and supportive experience.

In our sessions, you’re supported with grounded, down-to-earth counselling to help you understand your emotions… and gentle hypnosis that can help you release old patterns, soften anxiety, and rebuild confidence from the inside out.

Why I offer online therapy

I choose to offer online therapy because it gives you the freedom, comfort and privacy to open up in a way that often feels harder in a traditional therapy room.


Many clients tell me they feel more relaxed at home, more able to be themselves, and far less anxious about “showing up” or travelling anywhere. It allows therapy to fit into your life, rather than forcing you to rearrange your life to fit in appointments. 


Online sessions remove so many barriers:


  • No rushing
  • No travelling
  • No parking
  • No unfamiliar rooms
  • No arranging childcare
  • No waiting rooms
  • No social anxiety about walking in
  • More flexibility


Just you, in your own safe space, with the support you need right there on the screen.


Online therapy is incredibly effective. Research shows it works just as well as in-person support, and often allows people to open up more deeply because they feel grounded in their own environment. My calm, warm and down-to-earth style translates beautifully online, and clients quickly realise that connection isn’t about the room — it’s about the relationship we build together.

This was my first introduction to hypnotherapy after always being curious about it. I found the experience very insightful and impactful, hypnotherapy making me very proactive towards my goals and actually feeling the change after each session. I was suffering from anxiety due to working in an extremely stressful workplace. I was unsure what to expect from hypnotherapy, but Emma was so reassuring and easy to talk to. She instantly put me at ease, and I felt able to open up to her about how I was feeling. It was a truly relaxing experience, and I felt safe and secure in Emma’s care. I have felt calmer following the session and have been able to walk in to work without the feeling of dread that I had been experiencing.

I’ve never had hypnotherapy before and I didn’t know if it would be effective for me at first. Emma’s blend of hypnotherapy and counselling unlocked something that counselling alone has never been able to achieve.


Even though it was online, Emma’s voice and guidance led to me achieving a deep state of relaxation where she helped me to reach my inner child, one as my younger self and one as my older self. She was then able to use counselling to reflect and explore what the inner child work had brought up for me. I had numerous ‘light bulb’ moments during this blended approach and I was able to finally let go of things that were no longer serving me and reach a place of acceptance in relation to who I am, through identifying those who had impacted me negatively in my life and how this affected how I viewed myself.  It only took 4 sessions, but the transformation for me within this time was amazing.


I can’t recommend Emma highly enough, she’s help me take control back of my life.
